I received the shocks in short order and hurried them over to my local mechanic for installation. He did his job with a few problems on the rear installation due to difficulty of the Jeeps design. When I went to pick up the vehicle he explained that the "Boots" were to short and when my front or rear wheel may extend say over a rocky area the Boots will slip off the shock and provide no dust or junk protection. I should have gone with a solid shock or demanded I get longer boots that would protect the items.
