No, this will not fit. I would suggest taking your old one out and comparing it to the new one your gonna buy. Or type 1996 f250 7.5 speed sensor and it should pop right up

Question: Does a speedometer driven gear go on end of transmission output speedsensor?A Shopper / Dec 02, 2020
Hi,
They have 2 gears that work together to measure vehicle speed. The Speedometer Gears are usually located in the transmission. The Drive Gear is located on the output shaft. The Driven Gear is located in the housing.
