I was a little concerned at first, because this starter looked a little different from the one that I removed (slightly longer). I believe I had PN 2800167 (supposed to be for manual transmission) installed on my 4Runner with automatic transmission as original equipment. I was assured by more than one source that PN2800166 is correct for A/T. It fits perfectly and is working flawlessly.
