This starter worked great as a direct replacement for the original. It was easy to install and very simple wiring. My classic car has a very strong start now with this new starter. Works great!

Question: I have a 68 swing axle transmission in my dune buggy. The bushing for the starter is gone. My father loaned me a starter from a beetle autostick bellhousing he had since they do not require one. Is this the same starter?Katt G. / May 24, 2022

As long as both starters are 12v, it should work. Count the teeth on each starter to be sure they are equal.
