not exactly like the one i took off, new one had a nut instead of a slip clip to install the small wire, I had to relug the small wire to make it fit.
Other wise everything seems to be ok. Time will tell

Starter turns my jeep over faster and brand new starter for this low of a price is really nice. New one at autozone was $160. It also is direct fit no shims needed

Question: It only mentions manual transmission. Why is that? Should fit an automatic as well right?Matthew S. / Feb 23, 2021

Because it means that this only fits models with manual transmissions and is not compatible with models with automatic transmission.
