The starter got here on time and it was brand new.. It took me awhile to get it in as the bolt were in an awkward place and it took awhile just
getting that out. Once in The Ford started right up ...no problems .In the past I've had problems with new starters, but not from Carparts.com

Needed a starter for a Ford F-150 (4.2L). The parts store I normally deal with wanted $180 for a rebuilt starter plus a core deposit. I got a new starter for $104...from autopartswarehouse.com. I had to wait 4 days (my choice) and installed the starter and all is good...
