Question: Audi A8 Quattro 2005. Car won’t start with key or start button. I have been told I need to replace the starter control which i am told is a $2500 part from Audi. Does this replace this part?marci h. / Jan 10, 2021
Hi Marci,
Yes, this is the starter with solenoid assembly. The dealership would usually charge very high. The mechanic should have given you a diagnostic code if he did used a scan tool troubleshooting to identify the problem on your car. If you can have a second opinion for another auto repair shop, that would be better so you can see another affordable option.
