I have given this 3 stars as although the steering rack arrived on time, it was ordered as a kit with the tie rod ends. The tie rood ends have still not arrived even though I have been charged for them, there chat line is not working and there is a 52 minute wait on the phone as well as a 48 to 72 hours response time by email to my query. this is not good as I cannot complete the fitting of the new rack until I have rteceived the tie rod ends. There is no information as to when the tie rod ends are being shipped when I go into my account.

Hi,
A few symptoms of a bad or failing steering rack are as follows:
- Very tight steering wheel. Today's rack and pinion steering systems are supported by a power steering unit that utilizes hydraulic pressure to allow easy and quick steering wheel handling.
- Leaking power steering fluid.
- Grinding noise when steering.
- Burning oil smell.
We highly recommend to have the vehicle diagnosed by a certified mechanic to pinpoint what part needs replacement.
