The bumper fit well and look good. The packaging was subpar. The heavy box had a hole in and small parts were lost. <a href="http://Carparts.com" target="_blank">Carparts.com</a> gave me a partial refund to replace the missing and damaged pieces.

Yes, it is a guaranteed fit for your 2001 Ford Ranger Edge 6 Cyl 3.0/4.0L engine. Unfortunately, we do not have it for a flared/step side bed.

Yes, this is a guaranteed fit for your 2002 Ford Ranger XLT 6 with all engine sizes, with straight side bed, fleet or styleside bed, rear step bumper kit.

Answered by Jeonino E. / Fri, Oct 09Fleetside (think smoothside) has fenders inside bed. Stepside had them outside, with a handy step on either side. Styleside is a combination that allows same width tailgate and bumper, but still has bulges outside of bed.

Answered by Michael C. / Fri, Oct 09if your pickup has a stepside with rear fenders, it requires a different bumper than the one i bought, i had to cut the bumper to fit the truck. it was too wide at those two factory cutouts.

Answered by Andrew B. / Thu, May 20I've said before, it would not fit my step side without cutting the two curls to fit the narrower fenders on the step side. as result, it left a wider looking appearance than the OEM I removed. bolt pattern was similar, brackets the same, just nor designed to fit the step side in current form.
