I have an 08 Wrangler soft top. my summer top for years was the Bestop Safari bikini but now living in coast area, bikini tops, along with the duster (and the jammer when it rains) are my primary top. When I bought the Jeep new, I bought a Safari Bikini top and fought with it for years. The back straps that go under the seatbelt mounts and onto bar, loosen easily and the wind plays havoc with the fabric over the back two seats even when tight. I tried every way imaginable to make the straps stay and finally found that strong tarp clips would keep them from loosening. The top finally wore out and the back straps snapped so I decided to go with the standard Bikini. PERFECT! No more fighting the straps or the wind noise created by the extra fabric on the Safari. If you are trying to decide between the two, trust me, go with the standard bikini. The safari is good in design but not that great in real world everyday driving. Love the open air bikini. bestop cant be beat.
