Great quality and easy to install, bright tail lights, only disappoint is don't come with the 2 screws for securing it to bed side had to use my old ones which were rusted pretty bad.

Hi Jeff,
That is sealed shut to prevent moisture and leaks inside the tail light. The best way is to cover the lenses with masking tape and then have it spray painted.
