You need to pull the lens off the tail light by unscrewing it the replace the bulbs.

Only the one side you ordered is included - 1. I had a small problem installing it. I found that the framing around the glass did not exactly line up with the area to put it. So I just removed the glass cover from the framing and put the new glass in the old framing and it worked perfect.

No - I did find though that the connection from the truck to the light did not fit well so I just used the glass portion and reused the old frame, etc. instead of the entire new light which worked just fine.

No the pigtail is a separate part. It will mate up to the original connector if correct vehicle and year are selected.
