Screws were pretty low quality. I believe they were made out of plastic, not metal. I ended up just using the screws from my old tail light. Other than that though, it fit snug and worked perfectly.

Hi Kathy, I'm glad to assist you. No. It is incompatible. We do not carry a direct-fit passenger-side tail light assembly for the 2001 VW Jetta Wagon.
