There are a series of clips to remove to pull back the trunk lining to get to the light. The light is held on with three screws and connected to one wire clip and lifts right out. The back screw can be awkward to get to. Do not lose the original screws as the replacement does not include those. I found a YouTube video that showed me how to do it.
