Hi Donald, I'm happy to assist you. The only differences between the CAPA (Certified Automotive Parts Association) and the standard part are the cost and the certification. CAPA certified parts are mostly for repairs shouldered by insurance. The quality and specifications are the same for both types. I hope this helps.
