There is an access panel in the truck and I believe just 3 nuts that hold it in place. Make sure you check the fit & alignment before you fully tighten it down. On my first pass it seemed to fit fine and I secured it, but then saw that the front tip of the assembly was protruding slightly from the body. I loosened it up and wiggled it into a firmer position and then retightened the nuts. It has been a year and no issues with the fit or function.
