I was impressed with the soft open of the newer trucks. My F-250 tailgate is so heavy, so when I saw this at the price, I wanted to give it a try.
The instructions say to put the large end up, but that is deceiviwhen it is closed, so make sure the end with the rubber seal is down. Direction does matter. When it was upside down, it just dropped like nothing was on it.
Now smooth as molasses.
