The part came on time with no damage but the screws were exposed after installation. This screws are getting rusty because there were no covers to it. What should I do.. I also need inside liner for the tailgate. What should I do?

Question: The tailgate I ordered has an access hole but my old tailgate does not. Is there a cover that fits that and I will have to drill a hole in bottom for camera wire. Any ideas?William B. / Feb 07, 2023
Hi William, I'm glad to assist you. I double-checked your order, and it was ordered correctly. This tailgate has fitment info saying "For Models With Locking Tailgate And With Rear View Camera". If the fitment details match what you have. It should have fit without any modifications to be done.
