Was planning to buy OEM, however, they were on backorder nationwide. Took a chance on this based on reviews and I am very pleased. Part is of good quality, lined up well and seated into position perfectly. Check engine light is off, and all is working as it should. So far, so good!

Question: Hi. My car is a Pontiac G3 2009. A year ago the temperature gauge started to fluctuate a little bit up and down. I replaced the thermostat (bought it from Ebay). A month ago, my temp gauge started to fluctuate again. I decided to buy a thermostat in Carparts this time. The mechanic replaced it but the needle is still fluctuating a little bit again. It remains always in the second quarter of the gauge. Its supposed that the issue was going to be solved with the new thermostat but it didn't. What could have happened?jjvv7821 / May 26, 2023
Hi John, I'm glad to assist you. There is a possibility that an IAT sensor has malfunctioned or your radiator is clogged? Are you getting trouble code P0098? It is best to rely on a diagnostic reader for a trouble code it would generate. Please refer to a certified technician or a repair shop to do an extensive test on your vehicle.
