Question: i purchased these tie rod ends for 2003 mercedes benz s430 airmatic and it has no grease fitting and has no grease in them.how do you grease?ADELE D. / May 11, 2022
Hello! These should come pre-greased, but you could add more by removing the boot and putting grease directly into the ball joint socket

These are sealed Ball Joints for your tie rod ends. New manufacturing and chemical additives make them semi-permanent. There is no need to add grease too them. However if you want to you can drill a hole and install a grease fitting yourself, but it is not advised since the grease in a sealed ball joint is a specially made compound that doesn’t react well with moisture or standard grease that may be found at most parts stores
