Question: Is the 3 timing marks on the belt?
Also is this a gates water pump?Floyd E. / Sep 10, 2020
Hi Floyd,
There is markings on the belt, but, you can ignore the marks on the belt. Some manufacturers of belts put them there to help you line up the crank and cam pulleys. The thing to remember is to have the marks on the cam sprocket and crank sprocket in the correct position. The water pump included is a guaranteed Gates OEM brand as well.
Still, it is best to have that consulted and installed by a professional mechanic on your trusted automotive shop or dealership.
