Unfortunately I have not installed the new unit yet. However, based on the fact that it’s IDENTICAL to the original with no parts missing, I would assume it will work as perfectly as the factory unit.

Works just like factory switch. Turns off when you make a turn automatically when car straightens out.

Yes, mine is a tilt and it fit. You will have to remove the plug from the wires, feed the wires through the column, then reattach the plug.
