Answered by Aldrin P. / Mon, Oct 04The clips are attached to the bumper using the square holes in the bumper. The clips slide in place,then the valance is lined up to the clips and attached to the bumper with the bolts.
Start from the center of the bumper,and working to the outsides. Don’t tighten the bolts until your sure the valance lines up on both ends!
My valance fit perfectly,and I’m sure yours will also!!

Answered by Robert L. / Mon, Oct 04The clips are bent and shaped like a U . The clips slide into the square holes and held in place by the tension of the bend on the clips! Be sure to place the threaded side of the clips away from the head of the attachment bolts!!

Hi Brian, I'm glad to help you out. This part does not fit the 2005 Ford Ranger Edge. Upon checking, we currently do not have in stock the direct-fit valance with light holes for the vehicle. I hope this helps. You may also want to consider purchasing a trim fastener and molding removal kit, good to have as an addition to your home and garage tools. Happy shopping.
