Ford Ranger Worn out/damaged front valanceFront Valance, Valance Panel, Textured
5.0/5
“Like kind and Quality” is a term (hopefully) your insurance company adopts for some millions of claims in auto damages handled. The part I ordered and received- front lower Air dam or Front lower valance panel was A spotless copy of Ford part and an amazingly tight exact fitment. One and done is how I prefer to roll. Installation was truly a snap ! Insert laughter here( ) Pun intended OK OK now for installation tips-Unbolt front bumper assembly the four bolts and two easy to unplug driving lights is all that’s needed with easy access. Remove the lightweight unit. Bring it in your house or heated shop immediately cut off the first tab with a safety knife as this will weaken your startup point -pull hard outward and back and the rest of the tabs will start popping as they release- Assembly- The idea of bringing it in and warming the new valance panel is to let the new panel expand and soften Plastics expand faster and more than metals. It allows you to reaffix the panel without damaging slots, fighting for end cap submission or cussing in front of your children. Last tip- With 98% of the snaps locked inplace-use a butter knife to guide the two corners into the first and last slots voilà ! after rebolting the bumper Assembly add Dialectic grease to your driving light plugs to keep moisture out.

Question: Why is this bumper ~$50 more than the same item number ending in "Q"?Gregory H. / Apr 11, 2021
Hi Greg, I'm glad to help you out. The Q at the end of the part number denotes a CAPA certified part. The Certified Automotive Parts Association(CAPA) is a non-profit organization that certifies the quality of automotive parts used for collision repairs. CAPA oversees a testing and inspection program that certifies the quality of automotive parts used for collision repairs. CAPA ensures that parts meet quality standards for fit, component materials, and corrosion resistance. However, for the non CAPA, keep in mind that being non-CAPA certified doesn't necessarily mean lower quality. In many cases the parts are just as good but the manufacturer chooses not to pursue CAPA certification in order to cut costs. Please click the link below to order this part. I hope this helps.
