Question: How do you install pump in the tank? 1984 S 10 Chev. PickupD T. / Feb 06, 2021
Hi D T, We recommend referring to a good repair manual for step by step instructions. It may require basic automotive knowledge for proper installation, and professional installation is always recommended. There is a nut inside the tank which seals the pump to bottom of tank. Loosen nut and remove. Remove old pump and replace with new. The trick is starting nut on new pump. It takes a bit but once started can rotate pump to tighten

Use a socket and extension to loosen/tighten the pump nut inside the tank.
