Question: I need replacement reservoir/pump for 2008 gmc 1500sierra SLE 8cyl/5.3. How do I know if old vs new body style. Is this product compatible?Don M. / Feb 21, 2021
Hi Don,
Please carefully enlarge the image and compare with what you originally have. You can order it if it is the same. One basic determining factor(for old or new body style) is the back appearance of the tailgate of your truck. If it is the old body style (Classic) then it will have amber turn signal lenses at the rear tail lights. New body style models will not have amber lenses(only red and white lenses) and will also have a large logo in the center of the tailgate(saying Chevrolet, but new body style would just have the bowtie logo at the center of the tailgate).
