I am doing a complete built motor/supercharger build on my 1997 svt cobra. Whole power train was original and I pulled the motor out around 200K miles on it. Never had a problem with the motor or any overheating issues of any kind. The car was originally my dads. Only modifications to the car were under drive pullies, H pipe, mufflers & a set of gears. While dissembling the motor the original pump was quite the sucker to remove. Once removed I discovered it was the original OEM motorcraft water pump & still in great operating order, seal was perfect! If I had not decided to do this build and continue to drive it I still would be on the OEM water pump. I’m so glad I found car parts to find the cheapest new OEM pump I could find. Fit and finish is spot on and I’m most definitely NOT going to have an issue with installation and or reliability anytime soon. Thank you for the part, car parts!
