Question: Does this "1998 BMW 740iL Base - Water Pump - Replaces OE Number 11-51-0-393-340" water pump have a metal impeller or a composite impeller? The new Saleri units are composite and the old units are metal. BOTH have the same catalog numbers and OE numbers. You may need to call the distributor or manufacturer.JohnLee / Jun 10, 2023
