perfect fit in 1992 Ford TaurusRear, Driver And Passenger Side Wheel Hub, With Bearing,, Timken Oe Replacement
5.0/5
An excellent part. The original bearing was labeled Timken; this replacement was labeled Japan & Timken and fit flawlessly, as did the hub labeled USA. The replacement hub nut and snap ring were unlabeled - the nut fit perfectly, but the snap ring was slightly different in design from the original and very difficult to install, so I just reused the original snap ring.
A note on installation: the 1992 Ford factory service manual says to use a special Ford tool (that I found) with a hydraulic press, but it turned out that the tool cannot be used to press the old bearing out as shown. I used a press plate on edge with my 12-ton press (from JCW) to get the old bearing partially out and finished the job with an 8" 2-arm puller. Pressing the new bearing in was no trouble at all.

I've only been riding with the new for a week now, but the ride is so smooth now & not rough & all that vibrating it used to be b/c the wheel bearing had went out
