Question: I need help, please. I'm looking at Timken HA 590509
Front, Driver or Passenger Side Wheel Hub - Sold individually. I need a new front wheel bearing. It sounds loud and mechanic said it needs replaced. What is the benefit of buying the kit, which includes the hub and 2 other pieces?A Shopper / Mar 20, 2021
Hi,
It is always advisable to replace the front pair of wheel hub assembly if one goes bad since in just a short amount of time the opposite side would wear out as well. You will be spending a one time labor cost instead doing 2 repair in a short period which would cost you more. So the best way is to replace both the front left and right for uniformity and your parts are all new for the front wheel. You will not worry about the other side when it will suddenly go bad or defective after just replacing one side. So, it is really best to order a pair for the front at this time.
