The bearing I bought fit a 2003 Ford 250 4 wheel drive. My lug nut threads were a fine thread the one I purchased was a course thread.

Question: Is this hub for the manual locking hubs as well as the automatic locking hubs for 4wd?A Shopper / Mar 15, 2021
Hi, This is a premium wheel hub assembly for the 4WD drivetrain of your selected vehicle application. The locking hubs are a separate part to be installed on the front wheel hub assembly. That is why you can buy a manual locking hub pair separately. Locking hubs, also known as free wheeling hubs are fitted to some (mainly older) four-wheel drive vehicles, allowing the front wheels to rotate freely when disconnected (unlocked) from the front axle. Mechanically activated locking hubs are activated by hand by turning a switch on the end of the axle. Please consult with your trusted local auto repair shop for that information. A vehicle specific repair service manual is also a big help to assist you on your inquiries about the wheel hub and the locking hubs.

Question: Does the center cap come out to feed the axle thru?Marcus L. / Nov 14, 2024
Hi Marcus, I'm glad to assist you. We cannot understand the question. The center cap is installed at the center of the wheel. The front wheel hub assembly has no contact with the wheel center cap. This pair of front wheel hub assemblies is a guaranteed fit part if your truck appears in the vehicle fitment information below (after selecting the year, make, model, submodel, and engine size).
