Parts were perfect fit . Ended up being a wiring problem at the door pivot . Opening the driver’s door over the years caused the wires between the door and body to break causing intermittent problems with the window operation . Oh well still learning new things even at 67 years old .

Hi Sophia, when searching for a replacement part make sure you have selected the right year, make and model of your vehicle. Based on the information of the replacement part it appears that it will work in either an 04 or 05 chevy malibu. The one I ordered fit just fine in my 05 chevy malibu and is working great.
