Question: My 2000 Buick LeSabre Custom needs a front left window motor. First tried replacing the switch, didn't fix it. Then I ordered window motor that said "Fits your vehicle" with no notes about "fitment". Took the window apart, only to find the black part with gear mechanism on top - IS NOT the same configuration as the one in my car. Mine has an 8 "petal-like" gear in the middle, 1/4" thick, with screw holes at positions equal to 1, 3, 6 and 9 on a clock face(when motor and wires are sticking out to the left). Major problem is the casement that screws on top covers what the gears look like inside when looking at window regulator AND motor combinations online. So no way to tell by pictures if it's the right one or not. I've searched many sites and find none with this configuration. Can anyone help?Anne S. / Jan 04, 2023
I'm pretty sure you have the wrong window motor,Look for a Window Regulator
That way you'll get the motor and regulator in one swoop, Hope this helps
