These Shades were easy to install-I would say that for the window to go up easy past them take a Fine file and put a slight taper on the back edge where window slides by that way it does not get caught on window on way up! Auto vent shade should manufacture with taper-The consumers would be Happy-Otherwise this does as it Says!

I have used this product on previous vehicles and had no problem. The version that I received for my 2007 Tacoma did not have tape attachments on the front "nose" piece that fits in behind the window. The passenger side installed perfectly. The Driver side did not. It would not seat fully and when I closed the window it snapped off the "nose piece. The rest seated in place and is working fine.

Hi Calvin, The in-channel Window Deflectors,also called Vent Visors, mount up and into your vehicle's window channels(snug fit). There's no adhesive, no drilling, and usually no tools involved. The appearance looks sleeker and clean look on your door frame as well.
