Question: How do I know if the relay is bad the wipers will not work on intermittent also they will not shut off?Jerry M. / Oct 30, 2021
Hi Jerry, I'm glad to assist you. If you suspect the switch, simply turn the switch "on" and check for 12 volts from the switch output to any body ground (if you have a tester). If 12 volts are not measured, then the switch is bad. A bad wiper relay switch would render the wiper inoperable most of the time, and a humming noise is heard. If the relay is confirmed bad.
