For the 2003 Pontiac Vibe base model the thread size for the wiper attachment is a smaller size. Your original nuts will not work. You will have to get your own nuts and washers and the decorative caps will no longer fit. Luckily the grip between the attachment point and the wiper was still good enough to be functional. Though I can not be certain it is the exact same size as the original. Other than that everything was just fine. I added a bit of bearing grease to the sockets. That seemed like something I should do though that is just a guess.
