Hi Keith,
Yukon gear and axle has a generic image. Just as common for most differentials the drain plug should be on the differential itself, not the differential cover. Please click the link below for your reference from our supplier's online catalog.

Yes, after the cover is tightened down around the edges you add differential fluid thru the hole until it is level with the hole. Then tighten the plug back into the hole and you should be done.
