It’s a good piece but the holes where you put the screws back in to connect to hold it in place in the door aren’t threaded. It’s easy enough to run the screw through and back once but it would be nice if it came pre-threaded.

I liked the fact that I received the item quickly, though, I kind of disliked replacing it since it took me a while to install (needed a third hand to finally install). However, I was able to replace it with a bad one on my rear driver side door I had for quite some time. Once installed, it worked like a charm and very happy with the results.

My power locks have been broken for 15 years. These fix the 2000 Mazda Protege and work beautifully. no problems installing them and now all 4 doors have power locks again.
