Answered by Grace G. / Fri, Feb 04As I just found out after ordering the wrong one from another place, The Jeep Liberty (mine is 2006 with 3.7L) has two different front drive shafts depending on whether you have the FULL-time 4x4 or PART-time 4x4. The Full time 4x4 shaft is too long for my part time . Had to return it. Looking now for the correct shaft.

Hi Gary,
This front driveshaft is compatible with the 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 8 Cyl 4.7L (NOT for 6 Cyl 4.0L) 4WD, AWD. Please note that the engine size makes a difference. You have to measure the space between the driveshaft (though missing) because there are 2 more different measurements for this engine size, 20" Long Driveshaft and 34.625 in. Collapsed Length. This driveshaft measures 2 in Diameter, 32.5 in. Length.
