The exact part i needed without the nonsense of needing to reprogram it or send of my vehicle VIN and odometer reading (my truck is so old it is really irrelevant).
I tried sourcing this part from a brick and mortar part store previously and they wanted to give me a run around. Save yourself time and headache and just get it from here.

If you have an anti-theft (PATS) problem on your 1997 Ford Expedition XLT 4x4, simply replacing the PCM will not correct the situation unless it is correctly reprogrammed to operate with the vehicle's Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS).
