I received the part and it appears to be the correct one. I know it was indicated that the panel clips, hardware, were not included, but would have been SO MUCH MORE ADVANTAGEOUS if they were available as add on order for the panel. No luck anywhere aftermarket and the dealers, well we all know the issue with them!!! Just doing me no good riding around in the trunk of the car while I attempt to locate the clips. May have to use nuts and bolts, as if!!!

However, it does leave the engine area and its auxiliary parts open to damage from road debris. A lot depends on how well maintained the streets you drive on are. Minimal debris minimal damage.

As per checking, the item does not come with any hardware. We suggest getting those locally through a body shop or dealership.

I suggest making sure to get them from the dealer as the ones in some of the auto stores or after market look as if they fit but do not. I found out the hard way because it came loose withing a week of driving on the highway. I also suggest a few wire ties.

Hi Alan,
The engine splash shield front portion simply protects the front engine underneath from dirt, water or other debris that may contaminate the engine underbody or other parts on that area. This is not a lower valance cover or protector.
