Fits my 2011 vw tiguan. Some holes were a little bit off but nothing major, a little wiggling got it to where I needed it to be. Probably be a good idea to include hardware with it, or have hardware kits/sets available. I had alot of trouble trying to source correct screws and fir trees for the multiple different size and types of holes.

Question: Do I have to remove this splash shield for my 2013 volkswagen Tiguan to change the oil?Ki P. / Dec 03, 2022
Normally, with the oil changes I have gotten, they suck the oil out from top of the engine. But yes you would have to remove, I believe, both guards under the engine.

With this, no. There’s a cutout. The old OEM one had to be removed.

Question: Hi, one of your reviewers state that this shield is more flexible than the original. Is it thin or is it hard like the original to stay in place and tough to withstand road rocks, etc.?Andie / Mar 07, 2022
Hi Andrea, I'm glad to help you out. This item is a bit more flexible than the original, making it tougher to withstand road debris. This helps in protecting your engine. I think what they mean is that the plastic is more pliable and not brittle. The one I received is more than capable of repelling normal road debris and salt spray. Just remember its a belly splash pan and not an off road rock-guard.

Use the automotive screws (star head) that are on the VW original splash pan. If you dont have them, I bought some from the dealer for a few dollars.
