The Splash shield appears to be as good as the original although I wouldn't know exactly. When I bought the truck the splash guard was missing. It bolted right up but I had to purchase the bolts separately since they were missing from the truck as well when I purchased it.

The Front Engine Splash Shield was an exact fit! It's very sturdy, not flimsy at all. The paint seems quite adequate so I did not bother giving it a re-spray. I should have made this purchase a long time ago.
