The engine splash shield or sometimes also called a skid plate or lower engine cover is located under the vehicle's engine.

Answered by Khristine M. / Sun, Jun 07Hi. The shields didn’t contain any clips. I went to the parts dept of the Toyota dealer and they were very helpful. They can print out a schematic view of the different connection. Be warned: there are many different kinds of clips for these shields and it is a challenge to determine which is needed where.
