Hi Elizabeth, I'm pleased to help you out. This part is guaranteed to fit the 2001 GMC Sierra 2500 HDSL, SLE, SLT 8 Cyl 8.1L. The air injection system is not part of the manifold itself, it is a separate part designed to introduce clean air to the engine exhaust as it exits the exhaust manifold or exhaust headers.
