Hi Lauren, I'm glad to assist you. No, this exhaust pipe connects the catalytic converter output to the rear main muffler. This is an OE stock exhaust pipe replacement. This pipe would not replace the whole catalytic converter once you remove it. You will simply need to replace the catalytic converter so your truck's emissions would be safe for the environment.
