I recently installed a Magnaflow dual Street Series system on my 2010 Ford Flex Ecoboost. I had experimented with a tear muffler delete, then a third cat and resonator delete, replacing with an X-pipe and dual bottle resonators. The drone was horrendous inside. I added 10 series mufflers from a competitor, but that just made things worse! So, I ended up cutting everything off after the X-pipe, then I installed the Magnaflow system. Installation was fairly simple working with the car on ramps, though an extra set of hands would have been nice. I had to fabricate two straight extension pipes and cut the slight bends off the MF resonator to keep the piping tucked up under the truck, but only because I messed with the OEM piping previously. The sound is great! Might be quiet for some, but the reward of no drone was worth it, and it ‘feels’ even more peppy. (I have a Livernois tune)
Would buy Magnaflow again. Highly recommended!
