Have lasted well beyond 2 years.
Ebay generic versions I was replacing every year.
Best way is to use a long visor mirror from an older vehicle. Check junk yards for those.
Working in reverse view to get the door latch activator into the hole AND getting that dastardly nylon clip to latch over the rod is the toughest things to tackle for replacement of these handles.
Often you will end up reusing the nylon clip as the newer nylon clips lack in strength are not as reliable.
Soon as you feel a softness when opening the door, especially in the colder months, best to order a new set ASAP.
For tools a 10mm socket with extension, needle nose multitool, long flathead screwdriver, and a small vice grip.
