Question: My floor board on my driver and passenger sides are rusted out, after cutting out the rusted area does this fit over the old floor, or do I have to cut the whole floor out?Brandy C. / Oct 08, 2020

Yes, you'll have to cut out the rusted area of the floor pan and weld this in place.

Answered by Grace G. / Thu, Oct 08Only cut rusted area to where you have good metal to weld to, cut the piece to replace and butt weld the new piece in. Grind off excess weld, sand and seal with good rust reforming paint like rustoleum. Replace acoustic & heat control mat, put carpet back in.
