As per checking, the Certified Automotive Parts Association (CAPA) is an independent organization that comprehensively tests replacement automotive parts and certifies those that are proven to be a suitable, quality replacement part for a given vehicle.
The only differences between the CAPA (Certified Automotive Parts Association) and the standard part are the cost and the certification. CAPA certified parts are mostly for repairs shouldered by insurance. The quality and specifications are the same for both types.
